I am Breda Malone
Designing homes has been a passion of mine over the last thirty years. From my early days in Kilkenny Design working on projects that took me to New York, to projects that took me the length and breadth of Ireland, from small country farmhouse to grand castles.
Art has been a lifelong journey. Over the past number of years I have taught others through the National Education and Training Board, how to sketch and paint, and I know I have instilled in many of them a passion for art.

my Art
Living as I do in rural Co Carlow, I am surrounded by wildlife, nothing pleases me more than to capture the hares that visit our garden in the early spring. Then in summer the young fox cubs come out to play in the laneways, but never straying far from the safety of their den.
I have painted and exhibited many of the wildflowers that grow in abundance along the walks I take with my two Retrievers Lara and Leika, as they hunt for rabbits. I am a member of the Irish Society of Botanical Artists (ISBA) and have exhibited my paintings in the Botanical Gardens in Dublin, the Waterfront in Belfast and published in a number of books.

my Designs
In 1986 I opened my own shop in Kilkenny where in conjunction with my creative team, we designed and implemented several projects for both domestic and commercial interiors. The commercial work included Hotels, Banks and State Bodies.
